Our Founders, Atlee & Ashley Miller: Atlee, a professional farrier, and Ashley, a horse enthusiast and rider since childhood, share a love for horses. In their farrier business, they are dedicated to contributing to the health and well-being of every horse.
With decades of shoeing experience, Atlee knows that a horse’s health is impacted by the hoof. His invention of The Shoe ShieldTM was inspired by his work with horses and their owners. He was determined to solve the common shoe-throwing problem during turnout.
Atlee didn’t want to offer just another bell boot. He wanted to make a bell boot that would be easy for owners to use, be comfortable for the horse, be durable, and keep the shoes on.
Our mission is to give horse owners the opportunity to improve the lives of their horses through innovative, premium, and trustworthy products & services.
“These bell boots have been a great addition to our horses’ gear. Since using them, we haven’t had issues with horses losing shoes. They stay secure and provide excellent protection. The material is also a standout: durable yet soft enough to prevent any rubbing or irritation.”
“These bell boots have been a game changer for my horse, Smarty. He’s always been prone to pulling his front shoes, that have pads. Since using these, we haven’t had any issues and his shoes are staying put. Even in the Michigan mud in the spring. They’re easy to put on, and there has not been any rubbing or marks on his legs. They are super durable too. Highly recommend!”
“This bell boot is rock solid. I love it because it has a high cuff to really protect the coronet band and below the fetlock. It is a long bell boot which really covers the hoof well. Penny has pulled her fair share of shoes this spring (alone). And since she has had this turnout boot on she has kept her shoes on.”
